    “ YOU OWE ME A DATE, ”  she decided.  After hours, upon hours, of sitting still while Ben painted, a date would be the payment for the aches in her neck and the foot that had gone to sleep over an hour ago.  Being the subject of his art was worth it though, just to watch the way his hands moved with each brush stroke across the canvas.  The artwork was out of her line of sight but she knew it would be beautiful because how could he create anything but.  “ And not a Sailor Moon date night either.  A proper date. ”

She’s sitting at her desk, fingers tapping against the back of the down faced picture frame. One would think surviving a suicide mission would allow Natasha a few moments of peace, but one would be horribly mistaken.

Topic: how she views Ben/Kylo vs. how she views Jacen/Caedus

    Okay, so Ben vs Jacen is a little bit of a gray area. And I mean this as BEN vs JACEN. Nothing to do with Kylo and Caedus yet. Looking at how I have her being Ben’s twin, just as she is Jacen’s, I can honestly say that as Ben, Jaina does love her brother. He is her family, and she loves him. The same goes with Jacen. When we come down to the people before the darkness, Jaina loves them. Both are her brothers in the respective canons, and if looking at them before the darkness took over, she would do anything for them. Now, honestly, she does some what feel like Ben is a little more serious than Jacen, who is known for his horrible jokes and love of all critters. With Jacen she is the serious twin, and then with Ben I see her coming out more as the more some what humorous twin, mainly just using the sarcasm she is so great at. And given that she and Jacen began their training at 13, the deal with Ben not starting until 24, is highly bothersome to her. 

    Now, Kylo vs Caedus is more clear cut to me. 

   Everything that Jacen did in the journey to becoming Caedus started from LOVE. Just like Anakin’s journey and fall began in love. Jacen wanted to protect his daughter, he wanted revenge for the death of his brother. Hell, Jaina almost went dark side for the same reason. The fact that Caedus started his creation in a place of love makes harder for her in the long run. Until the death of Mara Jade Skywalker at the hands of Jacen, which was Sith Sacrifice, Jaina held some hope to redeeming her brother, but in the end, Jacen couldn’t be redeemed, and he had to die. 

    Much like Caedus, Jaina has hope for Kylo ( though she refuses to address him as such period, at least she does pre Han ) up until he kills Han. Jaina has more hope for Kylo before this, because he’s been tempted to the dark by an outside source, and it makes her hope that he’ll come to his senses by himself.  Or that it is possible he will return once that dark force is destroyed. (something similar to when a sith spirit possesses someone force sensitive )  She finds a great deal of fault in his obsession of Darth Vader, a lot of it steaming from the fact that Darth Vader was the creature that tortured their mother, father and uncle. And she would be far more understanding if he was obsessed with Anakin Skywalker, as the man before the fall. However, after he kills Han, Jaina looses the hope she has. 

    She has so much anger and hate, because now, her brother has transformed from perhaps just a boy that doesn’t know what he is doing, to someone that has killed the man that was offering him the chance at redemption. And if he wouldn’t take that redemption then, why would he take it later?
