in the current media landscape i get why tcoaal became a "controversial" topic but ngl the way people talk about it it'd make you think that it's a straight up fetish game, and like... it is very much an psychological examination of the incestuous relationship between the two protagonists. like even if you don't like how it was handled, the story is objectively a character study above all else, that's not an opinion that's just literally What It Is. and a lot of people who condemn its mere existence really seem like they haven't played it and are just going with a vague "incest pervert gooner game" vibe.
kinda makes you think about the anti mindset of "of course you can explore dark/taboo topics, just as long as you don't fetishize them!" and then someone does that and they go "NOOO not like that!!!"
