Happy Pride month to everyone behind the scenes that fought for Bowie and Raj behind the scenes. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to get not just one queer character for the reboot, but a whole couple. Seeing them on screen genuinely has meant so much to me, being able to remember back to where this stuff was pretty much no where in kids shows. The thought of a kid seeing Rajbow and being shown that queerness isn't something to be feared or confused by warms my heart beyond belief.
Raj reminds me of my past self so much with his uncertainty in dealing with these new feelings. Bowie being so unabashedly himself feels so refreshing in a world where we're encouraged to either hide who we are or tone ourselves down. I know none of these people will probably see this, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. As a queer person and a total drama fan.
