I started the year with a list of a few things i wanted to accomplish 100 times over the next 365 days. One of them was hiking. After 20+ years in Wenatchee, I've FINALLY hiked the most ubiquitous landmark in the valley. It was a thing that I was afraid of, and the timing wasn't even remotely ideal. But I stumbled upon a group hike and just had to do it. Of course, I'm glad I did it, now that's done, but I can't honestly say I enjoyed it more than I didn't. Maybe 40/60.
