Here are my favorite the Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady by @te-al-latte from the #zkcontrast2023.

I like the idea that when Zuko and Katara transform into their alter egos, they become truly free and can do what their hearts tell them to do, not what their duty tells them to do.

Soon I will try to post more works from #zkcontrast2023 and #lostandfoundzk2024 🙂

Commission: Music Night (te-al-latte)

I was going to wait to post this until May but…^___^

Please behold and delight at the marvelous @te-al-latte who I was lucky enough to commission (and just in time for Zutara month!) My request was something sweet from the Tempest in a Teacup’s drowning the moon arc, a.k.a. Zuko and Katara’s years at sea. Of the choices discussed, the final winner was – Music Night! (Because, really, what could compare?)

I adore how well-matched @te-al-latte made the pair look in the pic: Katara’s warm cheeriness is mercilessly on par with Zuko’s jaded irritation. Any minute now she’s going to dig that elbow in a little deeper and mention the tsungi horn…

Thanks for telling me. I’ve just watched it and I love how everything turned out, and the emotion which comes from their expressions and storyline. You draw them so similar to mongie’s style, and your Sam is soo cute.

And even if I ship more Link x Sam at the moment, I’m definitely looking forward to find out more about Charles’ backstory.

Well, I suppose as long as it’s not MarshalI I’m fine 😃

Blood, Chi, and Full Moons

I’m reviving an old fic and guys its happening :D You can read it so far on: FF | AO3 but I will also be posting (slightly updated) chapters and then brand new chapters on here individually as well as on the sites! 

(Note: some chapters might be disturbing with descriptions of abuse, violence and certain nsfw shenanigans;))

Katara’s been gone for a long time, but when she returns she goes straight to Zuko, wearing Fire Nation red, and bearing a secret that could make her the second most powerful person in the world. With Aang being held captive by an unknown enemy, the rest of the Gaang have no choice but to use that power wisely and help him bring the balance they had all fought for. A story of mixing of Bloods, of fusion of Chi, and of many Full Moons.

@te-al-latte i know! this fandom has so many lovely artists and writers, i’m perpetually awestruck. And ahhh thank you so much, I’m touched! :) I would love to join in, because I’ve never participated in a fandom event, and I just love the whole communal-spirit vibe of it all -  but I am also terrible at both deadlines and prompt-based content, which is kind of the cornerstone of any fandom event. So we’ll see! I do have some ideas rattling around, but I feel like if I do join in, it will be late to the party (as I always am).

In hindsight, I should have held on to the soulmate AU I posted a few weeks ago and saved it for Zutara Week, but oh well. And on another note - I’m in love with all the art you’ve churned out so far - keep on doing the Lord’s work, buddy! <3

@te-al-latte ahhh!!! it literally always makes my heart grow two sizes whenever you like any of my fics because (I’ve said it before and I’ve said it again) i live for your art, so thank you! Crack is surprisingly fun to write, I don’t know why I don’t do it more often

And oh god I don’t mind at all but I do not have a good answer for this question, I’m so sorry! I actually have no idea lmao. I love Aang but sometimes he is just not in my fics for... completely arbitrary reasons? Maybe he was on a trip with his adopted dad Gyatso when the gang were having this little sleepover. I’m gonna go with that
