“Just how long is that thing?!”
Practically kicking open another vent grate, Five dropped into familiar room of the school. She could hear the shrieks of the woman pursuing her close behind, still just as full of energy despite how long this chase had gone on.
Her eyes settled on another portion of the teacher’s freakish neck, stretching across into another system of vents. Sprinting by it, she made a series of sharp turns before reentering the room. Over and over this process was repeated, until the woman’s neck crisscrossed about every section of the classroom.
Utterly drained, the girl took to sheltering within the nearby cabinet. She had no idea if her plan had worked, sheer exhaustion left hiding her last resort. She sat, doing her best to listen for the woman despite her labored breathes.

Loud plinks and clinks and konks echoed the halls as a piano was played slow and off-key. After days of watching, a child had deduced this part of the school would be empty at these times of day, perfect for playing around with music. Even if it was a place she hated without knowing quite why. She only remembered the pianos.
Six seemed quite focused and intent on getting whatever this song was right, although for once her tiny feet were still too big for the keys, often slipping and hitting more than one at a time. She growled in frustration behind the mask. Soon she would become unaware of how long she had been there or any of her surroundings.
