Taking advantage of the brown lace I bought yesterday, I made this leafy bracelet that screams "I want to get lost in the woods", which hopefully will make me feel always free and wild.
“...every green witch creates her own practice. There is no initiation, no adherence to a set of rules. Living the green path is really and truly a reflection of the green witch’s inner light.”—Arin Murphy-Hiscock
So I’m a divination witch right? Like I adore tarot, I have runes, my crystal ball is gleaming, im learning palmistry, and I also dabble in some unconventionals like books, Crystal throwing etc.
but here’s the thing
I don’t like tea
I just don’t like hot beverages.
But I wanna read tea leaves!!! However, I can’t drink enough tea to get to that point. And I don’t wanna just read other peoples, I want to get a handle on it first with myself, like I usually do with divination. See my conundrum here?
I just can’t drink the hot leaf juice. It tastes...it tastes
Recipe Idea For A Good Night's Sleep
Chamomile & lavender tea with a pinch of sugar, a few drops of vanilla extract, and a good glug or two of soy milk. Inscribe and imbue a tea light candle with something like "rest" and "recharge", and place it in a safe holder (a lantern is my preference, for safety and ambiance).
Take both of these to bed with you, placing them on your bedside table or nearby shelf, and turn off all electric lighting. Sip the tea while unwinding in whatever way suits you.
Witchraft within tea: a rite of blessing for the working tools of having tea.
Tea has a unique and strange quality of being surrounded by rules and ritual by nearly everyone. Commonly held is a belief that To accept an offer of tea is almost nothing but to refuse tea is an insult. That is a strange and quiet power, to be able to brew any mix of herbs, flowers, and spices and to have it accepted without second thought. This sly dispensation of will and power through simple hospitalities turns the teaset to a working space and tools.
The cup
We have all seen the Image of a witch treating a guest to tea, grinning as her victim sips while she barely kisses her cup. The teacup becomes both vehicle for magic as well as the mask that covers the witches face, concealing whatever “tell” of dubious intent she wears on it.
The tea/leaves
The mixture to be brewed is often overlooked beyond simple titles like “black”, “chai”, and “herbal”. It is accordingly simple to choose herbs, spices, flowers, etc and mix them with your will to extend that will to those who will drink.
The kettle
Perhaps more overlooked in the way of magic is the kettle. All, even electric kettles serve the singular function of boiling water. For this singularity if use it is like a spiritual booster for water, as it is where water is housed to be made active and empowered with heat,Thus bringing out its transformative power. The howl emitting from it representing the build of power inside the water.
The teapot
The teapot serves as both a sort of cauldron and a sort of cloak. This meaning that in addition to serving as the medium within the herbs and hot water are mixed, it is also a cover, obscuring the exact contents of the pot. Preserving the secrecy and therefore the power of the brew. It is for this reason that loose teas are preferable to tea bags, as far as magic goes
The strainer
The strainer represents the final true opporunity to influence the tea itself. For its quality of removing leaves it can be used to remove onstacles from your work or acting as a “filter” with which you want to influence another’s perception. It’s leaves can be dumped back into the cup when there is one sip of tea left and that water can be then removed allowing the leaves to be read.
The tray
The tray allows the entire set to be worked with enchanted and assembled secretly before being presented to those who will drink.
Milk and sugar
The vehicle through which the brew is personalized to the drinker. A further anchor of your magic in them and a further hook in their lip
The spoon
A metal conductor of energy from either the witch into the tea or the tea into the drinker externally while the tea works them internally.
Assemble these items, and arrange a tea party for three, with one or two seats laying empty and their tea dashed in the ground along with the cup or saucer. This sacrifice will bless and protect the rest of the set

I recently bought a diy bag which I coloured like a fish! 🐟 I got inspired by Pinterest
I enjoyed a lot painting it and found it pretty relaxing. I hope I'll be painting more!
