6: languages I want to learn-Ugh so many! Hebrew is next up on my list of languages to study in depth once I get a better hold on the 4 I’m tackling right now. Past that I’m not sure…I think it’d be fun to study a lot of different languages so I’d have to evaluate after then.
12: Favourite word(s) in another language I speak/understand-Ahhh the one that I don’t have a good answer toooooo. I tend to like words based on how they sound more than meaning. I love unbequem in German based purely on how it sounds for instance. And I love Japanese onomatopoeia, with グルグル being a definite favourite!
15: Write something in a language other than English-今、私の日本語は上手じゃない。全然勉強しないから。:(

2: Favourite language at the moment? Probably Japanese. It’s so hard for me to say what my favourite anything is haha. But I’m most proficient at Japanese so maybe that haha. They all mean something different to me though so it’s hard to decide.
5: What do you find more useful? Books or websites? I am a little partial to books since I learned German in high school (and one semester in college after not studying it for 3.5 years that was fun) and Japanese was one of my majors. I really only started using the internet for good resources after I was well into Japanese and even then I relied more on my books. But Irish and Finnish I’m basically only using web sources right now. So it depends what I want to get out of it, how much money I have to spend, and sometimes books can be too structured. My goal is to get books for all and use the internet so I guess yeah I like books. Lol.
7: What languages do you want to study in the future? Hebrew! That’s next on my list of languages to officially tackle haha. But I need more base for Irish and Finnish before I can even think of starting it seriously. I would also love to learn Japanese sign, once my Japanese is a lot better. I also am interested in Cantonese and Thai, though Thai would be one of my “dabble for fun” languages lmao. I also would love to get exposed to the basics of a Native American language.
Thank you so much!
