i have such mixed emotions

on one hand i LOVE regina. i love her smile and sass towards zelena. i love how alone (with robin) she is vulnerable. she is strong and weak. she is trusting robin and others. she is growing and changing but still retaining her sass and all the things that make her the regina that i love,

but then i love zelena. her past makes me cry. how she over came everything and took control of the word that was used to hurt her. she is hurt beyond anything. she feels cheated. she doesnt know how to let her feelings out so they turn into anger and envy. turned her green. she has never had anyone choose her or want her. i can easily understand her and feel the urge to hug and want her to find her happy ending. to find someone who will want her.

I love Regina and always will. But I also love Zelana and can't help but feel bad for her. I am team wicked.

Zelena IS more powerful than Regina. Fact.

While Regina learned all her skills from Rumple and is indeed very powerful and not to be trifled with, it never came naturally to her. She had to learn

Zelena had her power as a baby. She had a natual ability to do magic. She learned how to control it and learned skills from Rumple, but he never had to teach her the basics.

I’m kind of feel bad and proud of zelena.

She grew up with this power she knew nothing about. It all came natural to her yet she didn’t know where is came from, what it was or how to use it.

Her father called her wicked and used the word as an insult. To make her feel wrong and smaller than him. He drunkenly tells her she was adopted and is just cruel to her. Blames her for his ways and orders her around.

But she broke free from that. She had the courage and strength to walk away. To find something better. Because she knew she deserved better than a drunk father who treated her as a maid and talked down to her. Emotionally and verbally abused her.

She turned his insult around and owned it. No longer let the word wicked make her feel small. Instead she used it to empower her.

That alone is why zelena is amazing and badass.
