Changing a Life: Part 2 At the age of 16 I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was told my weight was the culprit and that conceiving would always be difficult. Two years ago I was given less than a 2% chance of conceiving unless I lost a drastic amount of weight. I was reminded that 30 was around the corner and chances would drop more each year after. I was crushed. Nothing had ever worked for me. No matter how little I ate or what or how much torture I put myself through. When 10 ponds fell off here or there it would always come back, and with a vengance. But I still tried anything I could. I found comfort, hope and motivation in friends and family who had also struggled with PCOS and weight yet had beautiful children. I used my dream and desire to keep trying every thing I could to get healthier. I started focusing on what I put in my body, rather than what came off. 21 poundd down, and gone for good, plenty to go but hope is alive. #motivationmonday #hopeisstillalive #teamanchored #teambreakfree
