Hello there! We're looking for folks to help out with our project, Gritfell which is inspired by Underfell, and balancing the tone to maintain the feel of both UNDERTALE and UNDERFELL- The story takes place around 10 years after the Exiled Queen ending it follows the story of Einar, a young, teenaged human possessing the soul trait of Bravery unlike the child before them, he entered the Underground willingly after hearing rumors of strange noises coming from inside Mt. Ebbot- perhaps this wasn't their best idea- they'll have to take a long journey to get back home- a journey filled with old faces, and new, with scares, laughs and fights for your very life.

Killing is still unnecessary, but can you hold in the urge to FIGHT?.. to Kill? The choice is yours, but the consequences are as dire as ever.

A variety of locations to explore, both new and old

Expanded gameplay mechanics, new features and quality of life improvements inspired by DELTARUNE and Aftertale, as well as some original.

(Mostly) Original Soundtrack bursting at the seams with energy, personality, and emotion.

Battle Mechanics have been expanded to reflect the usage of the Orange Soul, battles are faster in pace, and some attacks rely on a new mechanic called "Burst Dodging"- which allows the SOUL to move really fast in the direction it was moving in a "burst" style for a limited amount of time, as it relies on a meter

I have a question Einar. 10 years ago, were there any reports of a child coming from Mt. Ebott?

Question about Tori's banishment in this au. In Undertale, the ending talks about Undyne banishing her to the ruins after "forcefully" overthrowing her and yet Sans will bring up (If Paps is alive) that he and Paps convinces her to leave the Ruins sometimes and she does as long as one of them stays put as temp guardian. Which was weird to me. Did Tori do this when Undyne wasn't looking? Did Paps & Sans convince Undyne to give Tori some wiggle room in her banishment? It's never explained and I was wondering where your au stands on this matter.

Ah, yes! We do wish that Undertale had explained this a bit better ourselves, the explanation we have for it is simply the former, though maybe not so literally, see, Undyne now being the ruler of the Underground has some plans of her own to take care of, and fulfilling them would take up more of her time than even she could ever imagine, so, naturally it gave Papryus and Sans same wiggle room to sneak toriel out of the ruins here and there, however, with Papyrus being the Royal Guard, and Sans being a Royal Sentry (among his many other jobs) their time to visit Toriel grew short over time, until eventually.. they couldn't at all. their hands have been tied. Toriel has grown rather reclusive over time as a result. You'll be seeing plenty of her in Chapter 1 ^w^ thank you so much for asking this.
