PETER GADIOT LIKED MY TWEET OMG IM DEAD 😩😩😩😍😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭😭
So errrr @mattstokoefans on tumblr asked me could they tweet my drawing of him and I said of course, and then this happened....👆🏼
Poor James. But I am glad that he stepped up in the end and told Alice what he knew about Massingham, even knowing he would lose her to Silas.
P.S. She looked back at him. Twice.
look at them making eyes at each other and everything
Queen of the South
KING GEORGE ALSO LIKE MY TWEET AND SAID I WAS RAD!!! 😭😭😭😭
Reblog if you're #teamJames
Whether it’s this one
Or …errrr…. this one….
It doesna matter - both are entirely acceptable 😬
Sorry Alice, but I'm still not shipping you with Silas
I don’t quite know what it is…. actually that’s a lie, I do.
Silas isn’t well written at the moment. I just don’t see ANY DEPTH to his character at all #shallowSilas
Is it the actor? Is it the writing? He’s pretty certainly, but pretty vacant. ( That’s harsh, isnt it? But true)
Sadly, stubbornly I remain #teamJames
I find the blacksmith incredibly interesting. I want to know about his past. His interactions with Alice to me have a whole other level of chemistry I don’t see with Silas.
And as for the depth of James’s character - it’s fathoms deep as far as I can tell. There may be a dark side to him. This intrigues me. There is so much going on below the surface, there ARE shadows, and I love it.
And yes, from the teaser for next week, he gets his head put in a noose…… is this the end of him? Please god no.
If they do kill him off, Bill Gallagher, the writer and creator will have made a major ( fatal ) mistake - James Read is genuinely the only male character I am remotely interested in getting to know better. Maybe Meredith, but boy does he need to get sober.
So sorry, not sorry Alice - I cannot wish you well in your nuptials next week
I will remain #teamJames till the end
EDITED TO ADD - just read up a bit, and James Read was a real historical settler in Jamestown : he was the blacksmith there and he did have a contretemps with the Governor. And he was sentenced to death. But he was the only SKILLED blacksmith so…😏
