Well we were barely getting over Wednesday's soreness and it's leg day again. @uniquely_fit_ bravely joined me for another session of leg torture and we made it through. 😄😩😂😭😀😬😌😖 As much as I might complain about being sore though I'm loving the training. So I've put my own training on the side bar for the past couple months, just been busy and haven't made it a priority so workout sessions have been more of a random thing where I work whatever I feel up to at the moment. But now it's time to get back to it and get serious about growing some muscle. Got a new plan from coach @wgrazifpapro and I'm excited to see what we can do. Played with some snatch grip deadlifts after my squats today, it's been a while since I went light and worked on getting the form right. This version of deadlifts is excellent for your whole posterior chain, from upper back to hamstrings. My #TransformationTuesday Supertan to Superpale 😄😄 4 weeks post show and I'm maintaining pretty well while I'm increasing my calories and getting stronger again. I'm happy to see after the struggle I had with my body responding to the prep that it is responding very well to the reverse dieting. Staying stage lean and at your stage weight is not something that is realistic and not something I'm trying to do. My weight has fluctuated over the past 4 weeks from 142-148lbs but is on average around 143. I'm not as lean but can still flex and see some abs and I'm quite comfortable at this stage right here. I'm expecting to gain few more pounds as I keep increasing calories but as long as my strength will increase tpp I'm OK with that. Goal is to stay under 150lbs to be able to come in leaner next time. But first I must grow more muscle. Doing a slow and healthy prep has the advantages of not having to experience a crazy rebound and excessive weight gain. Even with a messed up metabolism like mine. 😁 Moral of the story; diet smart and take your time, expect some weight and fat gain post show but don't binge to keep it to minimum. Quick circuit this morning with my son as the camera man and daughter as the drill sergant / entertainer 😄 since they didn't have school today. Did 250m Row (1000m total) 25 knee tucks (100 total) 25 sledgehammer slams, on each side And then a overhead/farmers carry combo I did 4 rounds as fast as possible. Looking back at yesterday I am so humbled by the overwhelming support and encouragement I've received. This was so much fun and I want to thank everyone for the love and support I've received, you guys are so amazing. This kind of support and positivity and people dedicated to health and happiness and betterment of oneself and others is really what the fitness industry should be about and is why I fell in love with it in the first place. It's what makes us all Legion of Boom. Of course there are few that deserve to be mentioned in helping me on my journey or yesterday to get thorough the day. First of my husband and family you are my rock. My clients, my team, you guys are there to motivate me to be the best version of me every day and to hopefully relate that back to you. Couple of more videos from my leg day yesterday.
