Its wasn’t uncommon for Team VNLA to chaperone at dances, they were usually one of the first teams to volunteer. The whole team to most surprise were rather social which helped during the dances since most of the time they would approach wallflower students asking them to dance and such. His ears shifted at the whispers though he ignored them seeing as they weren’t about him. “Fine, I’ve been helping out in combat classes.” He replied watching the students dancing gracefully around the ballroom floor easily spotting Lye and Jae among the students. “Yourself?” He asked glancing over at her from behind the black mask the designs intricate drawing more attention to his eyes, Nava had made the teams mask enjoying small projects like this.

“I’m going to take a walk. Just call me when we’re going to get back to the mission.” Lye informed her teammates after finishing her lunch, the team was taking a small break in their mission and she wanted to take the remandee of said break to explore the area she hadn’t been to it before. She began to walk pausing a moment to take pictures of the scenery, Mistral was different from other Kingdoms. Her nose picked up the smell of something, putting her scroll away she sniffed the air. There was a faint smell of ash nearby, nothing was burning but the smell was there. Curiously she began following the scent soon stumbling upon the burnt ruins of what seemed to once be a village.

Van let out a yawn leaning back in the seat on the air ship VNLA had been assigned a mission that involved helping a first year team, it was anything too dangerous since first years weren’t usually given missions like that. It was early since the mission was in Mistral and they wanted to get there before the sunset. Nava head lied against Lye’s shoulder as she slept, Lye was playing a game on her scroll while Jae was reading over the mission statement. The mission was pretty simple to Team VNLA at least it, there had been some Grimm sightings near a small town. They were told to check it out and depending on how small the packs were the third years would handle it, though they knew how annoying that was when you were in your first year so they as a team decided as long as the pack was small and not too dangerous of Grimm they would have the first year team help out. They were waiting for the first year team, Team MINT the mission statement has informed.

Van stood in the student lounge taking a break from his essay by playing some darts, he aimed even without his Semblance his aim was still pretty good. Hears ears flicked in the direction of the door hearing it open, as he released the dart hit in the middle of the dart board.

Jae rested his cheek against his hand as he read the pages of the book he held in his other hand, he didn’t really have anything to do. He had finished classes for the day and had the majority of his homework done, the only thing he had planned wasn’t until later.
