Why #TeamDosan in this world full of #TeamJipyeong?

This is not a question of who is the better person. We all know they are good people with their own flaws too. Han Ji Pyeong is too harsh with his words while Nam Do San is a little violent when he gets angry. But we know they love Seo Dal Mi very much.

So it all came down to who deserves Dal Mi more? And I personally think it is  Do San. Okay, here me out.

When I started watching the series, it already has 14 episodes. And a lot of people are already decided which team they are on: #TeamJipyeong. I think I only know two people who are not. Haha. So I was thinking that the battle of these leading men are so close.

I binged watch Start Up for a good 3 days to keep up to the last 2 episodes, but in my surprise, I never rooted for Ji Pyeong, romantically. The reason? Simply because, I think Do San and Dal Mi's bond is more personal. I remember I kept asking my sister if there will be a lot of Ji Pyeong x Dal Mi moments in the late episodes because I feel like their relationship is too formal to even consider. The memory of their letters will always be meaningful and all the things Ji Pyeong did to keep Dal Mi safe and happy will never be forgotten but, it just doesn't feel right. While in the other hand, our under dog Do san, is "trying" and "capable" of pulling Dal Mi's heartstrings, always.

Another thing, Han Jin Pyeong could have had a chance if he acted on what he feels for 3 years that he is with Dal Mi and Do San isn't. But he did not do anything. It just always too late. I know it is always gonna be hard to act upon our emotions, especially with something as strong and fragile as love. But I will always give credit to the people who did try, who are brave enough to be true to what they are feeling, even without guarantee.

That's why I think Nam Do San will always win Dal Mi's heart. 💕
