Out of this whole city Francis had only seen one familiar face so far. It was kind of... Wearing on him. He was always the perky one. Peppy-- at least that’s how he presented himself besides being the ‘mature sibling’ type. This place was strange and he wasn’t quite sure he could get used to it at this rate. Not when he felt more and more like something was missing from him.
His people.
That said, any more familiar faces might be nice. Perhaps that was asking too much. Yes, it must be. There must be a reason for this, right? God did this to him for some reason. Perhaps it was his constant avoidance in religion lately? Who was he kidding, he was growing more and more agnostic every day anyway. And it was simply---
A familiar face. That’s all he wanted. You could imagine how surprised he was to feel such relief when he caught sight of a certain familiar face. Any other time he would have shamed himself for such a sudden excitement, suddenly dashing after the other--- there was no way that could be anyone else. Being the same persons ‘enemy’ for over a thousand years made them easy to miss in a crowd after all! Francis suddenly reaches the other, grabbing him by the wrist and pulling him back, panting from the sudden surge he pushed himself to.
“England!?”
