I have a small question!!! Say some hermits are sparring, testing out new weapons, etc. And then BAM one accidentally kills the other. Does this count as a permadeath, or does intent matter in the realm of kills?
Aura actually solves this issue !! so in rwby (at least in vol 1), characters were told to keep an eye on their communicators, which showed how much aura (which in this case acted as their "health bar") they had left. if their aura levels dropped to a certain point, that would count as a loss, and the match would be called. this prevents any major accidents from happening during sparring matches :]
