have you picked up any vibes about the amr22 from the scant reporting and glimpses we've seen of it yet?
i should make it clear that i understand almost nothing about aerodynamics but what i gather from smart people on twitter and so forth is that there are some interesting and innovative solutions on the AMR22. and definitely the most obvious thing is that the shape of the body is quite different from the haas and the mclaren, much wider at the back vs. what's called a coke bottle shape--along with some other details, it seems pretty clear the AM philosophy is to get maximum use out of the new ground effect rules. it easily could produce quite a fast car, but whether it's going to be much faster than the more obvious or expected choices is hard to say.
at any rate, the team has clearly put a TON of time and effort into basically everything in a way that requires a lot of good teamwork, which pleases me! 😊 if it's not a good car, it won't be for lack of trying, you know?
