I suppose L’aan’s often thinking about the state of his life. Fate is an uncertainty, and has taken alot of twists and turns for him. Where’s he going? What if something had turned out differently in the past?
Of course, he does enjoy his life as it is now, but he’s experienced so much grief and peril, he wonders how life would have been if things came a little easier, and an uncertain future has him nervous sometimes.
Thankfully, he also has a husband and friends to think about who’s ready to help when things do end up getting tough.

He does like things that are “debatably” cute. Mandragora, Goobue Sproutling, Hecteye, Morbol Seedlings... Show him a Mummy’s Little Mummy IC and just watch him melt over it’s cuteness! (nevermind the lore is that it’s supposed to be an undead, embalmed child...)

I suppose it depends on what it is that’s causing the excitement, really.
Like, if he was ecstatic, his ears might wiggle or flap, or his tail will swish about.
If he was nervous or anxious, he might end up pacing, or distracting himself with something else for a time. (I know he was enjoying the scenery of the Sanctum of the Twelve during his pre-wedding jitters.)
