It had been a couple weeks since Teddy really was sailing, and while he knew that his and Kaleb’s season was over, he was excited for what this summer may bring. This was the first summer without sailing in years, and he could tell even his own muscles needed it. He decided to take a stop in Long Island before his plans before Montauk, staying with another sailing team he met in competitions, Alan and Harvey. He only meant to stay with them for a couple nights, before his final destination in New Athens. On his second night, Harvey decided that he was going to go street racing, a pass time of his, and Alan begged Teddy to come with, not wanting to be alone when Harvey inevitably abandoned him to race and flirt with the girls that showed.
In classic Graham fashion, he said yes. Teddy rarely ever said no, plus he had never seen street racing, and he was curious. He showed up, and shortly later, Harvey was already running off. “See, I told you!” Alan exclaimed, pointing at Harvey. “I don’t even know why I come with him half the time.”
Teddy let out a loud laugh, shaking his head. “You know Al, you could always just also talk to people,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows lightly in a teasing matter, following toward a group of people who looked like they were going to watch the festivities too.
