Waaay back in the day I was absolutely obsessed with the idea of the Garo from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, a people that I fleshed out with my own headcanons for a solid few years in the rp days. While I mostly played as my main 3 Garo, I did have a fourth that got kinda left by the wayside...
This is Tekai'il, who is sometimes just called Kai by people (though he's not fond of shortening his name tbh). In his original form, he was the lead shaman of the Stone Tower Temple. He's a little bit of a workaholic as a scholar and keeper of ancient records. Occasionally, however, he would embellish some of the updated stories...a bit like writing some light historical fanfiction...
Like my other Garo OCs, he's been transplanted into my original world of Treias. Though he's a lich, he's not evil by any means. In fact, he's rather reclusive and only really interested in historical writings and artifacts. Without the responsibility of being a leader like his Garo version, he doesn't really feel the need to interact with most people in general. He can come across as a bit egotistical/elitist at times, though he really doesn't mean to. He just feels his work of restoring ancient knowledge is highly important...though he still LIGHTLY embellishes from time to time.
I didn't realize until I finished the piece that I hadn't given him any eye color like the other Garo-to-Treias OCs, but tbh as a lich we'll just say he lost that when he was transformed. It was an unintentional curse, just like with the undead Garo people.
