Y'all with pets and anxiety, get yourself an "ask a vet" service subscription. I mean it, this $10/month has saved me SOOOO much anxiety and sleep and worry and time and money. Think about it:
They might have gotten into something, but you're not sure. You want to treat this as soon as possible if so, but don't want to rush to the emergency vet (or go to the vet at all) if that is unnecessary. So you need to know what to watch out for and at what point to go to the vet.
Your animal is sick or hurt and you're not sure if it can wait till the morning/next appointment at your regular vet or if it's an emergency.
They throw up and you don't know if it's "normal" or what it means. And it's more accurate than googling pictures because a vet looks at your picture and matches it to their knowledge.
Your animal didn't eat and it's concerning you. You know it's okay for them to miss a meal every now and again and is really only considered a problem after two missed meals but your anxiety is losing it
Your animal misses two meals in a row and your anxiety is losing it
Like any time your brain tries to worst case scenario about your pet(s) and their health... You can just ask a vet if that is nonsense. For ten (10) dollars a month!!!! $10. Technically, $9.99. Will get you a licensed professional (whose judgement feels less meaningful because it's more anonymous than going to the vet) at your fingertips 24/7. No more pacing around desperately trying to figure out if you should be worried or not. No more going to the vet to ask the questions about when to be concerned and when to come to the vet. No more desperately searching reddit or other forums for what sounds like is happening for you. No more asking on reddit and other forums and trusting random internet users who say "oh yeah that happened to me once" for medical advice. No more anxiously comparing different pictures of vomit to figure out which one looks like what you see. No more seeing something unusual in the litter box and immediately freaking.
FOR ONLY $10!!!!! Highly recommend.
