Tell Me Son | Jungkook & Hades
After meeting with his brother Zeus, Hades had spent some more time just walking around the streets of Mount Phoenix. He’d come to understand that he should probably find himself a job somewhere to keep himself busy with. And of course, after having heard of a place where people could go to get cured of their illness and injuries, he had found said ‘hospital’ the place to be.
Claiming the position of the new Hospital director was easy, and he wished the humans of old could have seen it now. Oh the glorious irony. The fear it would have invoked in their followers once upon a time. Trying to get better? Visit the place where Hades works. - Isn’t he the god of the Underworld? - Oh yes, but no sweat. You’ll make it through.
Snorting at the though, Hades chuckled a bit to himself before focusing his attention outward again. Too much time spent in the crevices of the Underworld had made him a little too used to talking to himself and making up conversations other people would have in his head. Definitely not something you told other people you had done to make time go by, that’s for sure. Looking around at the people going about their daily business, he wondered which things he was going to find in this new world that he might be able to bring down to the Underworld with him when he went back to entertain himself better.
It was during a musing of this kind, when he suddenly spotted a young man walking around with his attention entirely focused on something in his hands. It was the umpteenth of his kind that Hades had seen pass by that day, but of course he had not asked Zeus about these things, because he was hardly going to admit out loud to his brother that he had no idea of the modern day technology.
And so, Hades set on his way to follow the young man. Stealthily as ever - which meant he was just walking after him without trying to hide it - he followed the male on his walk to wherever he needed to get. His eyes were focused entirely on the device as well and whatever the young male was doing with it, but he couldn’t seem to figure out what the use of this thing was. He only got very short glimpses of the top of the device and every time he looked, he saw something different. Frankly, it baffled him.
So, eventually, Hades was forced to do the only thing he still could do in a situation like this. He widened his step and caught up to the young man he’d been following. “Tell me, son,” were the first words out of his mouth, as he positioned himself in between the young male and the direction he’d been going in. “What is this small, rectangular thing you hold in your hands and why do you continue to tickle it with your fingers? Is this a strange, new kind of discus and are you tickling it for good luck?” That seemed a rather odd thing to do, but hey, he wasn’t one to judge. If that’s what people were into these days...
Having motioned with his right hand at the device during his questioning, Hades focused his gaze upon the young male’s face only when he finished talking, his both hands clasped behind his back again. His expression was completely serious, his eyes taking in the other male’s features as he waited for the proper response to be given to him. He was quite curious to find out why all these people were tickling these tiny discuses.
