Ōtake Risuke Minamoto no Takeyuki 大竹利典源健之 (Narita, March 10, 1926 - Narita, June 8, 2021) Born in the year Taishō 15 (1926). In the year Shōwa 17 (1942), he began Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-Ryū under the guidance of Hayashi Yazaemon Iekiyo Sensei, at the age of 16. In June of the year Shōwa 35 (1960), this school was designated as the Cultural Heritage of Chiba Prefecture. Ōtake Risuke, he was appointed guardian of the tradition. In addition to this, he worked as an Examiner and Recorder of Swords and Firearms of the Chiba Prefecture for a period of 30 years. He has been a member of the Chiba Prefecture Musket and Sword Council of Experts since 1979. He was the author of the book Katori Shinto-ryu: Warrior Tradition as well as an earlier triptych on his school's tradition entitled The Deity and the Sword: Katori Shinto-ryu. Thanks to his merits of him as custodian of an intangible cultural asset and in the swords sector, he received a prize for Regional Merits from the Minister of Education. In the spring of Heisei 17 (2005), he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, with golden and silver rays. - Yuki no Senshi Dōjō 雪の戦士 道場
