TPC skin concept dump

So the skin suggestions in the discord sever has officially closed and hey I’ve been meaning to dump them here so volla here are all the skins I designed and my thoughts

C00lkidd - Cardboard

Honestly this one kinda sucked and I feel like I could hv done more to improve it to make it more cardboardy. This one got rejected which is fair lol but the fact a day later a skin of the exact concept got accepted was just pain ToT (something about reactions idk), but they did a way better job than me so I consider that a win. One last thing, I def should of picked a better text than “we have candy” cuz bru the implication isn’t great ._.

Also fun fact originally this was going to be angry birds skin, specifically the pig since every time I look at a c00lkidd the building song from bad piggies. I wanted the mech and armour to look DIY similar to the games aesthetic when it comes to inventions like the go karts and the contraptions in bad piggies. But the I took the cardboard direction cuz I had a difficult time trying to design it ;-;

Sorcus - 20% cooler

Yes the title is a refrence. Anyways I think it’s a great skin, plus it got accepted too which is 20% cooler. I’m proud of the little details I added to the skin with the pins, necklace and the back jacket. The only thing I think I could of improved on is the colours cuz it looks too… Bland, maybe turn of the saturation or make that hoodie bright purple. I was def trying too hard to stick close to his og colour scheme =_=

Tarabyte - …Scene?

I’m salty over the fact this skin got rejected cuz it had animal features. Now I understand and accept that reasoning, it’s their game and choice to accept whatever skin they want, but man does it suck T-T. I think what I’m the most mad over is that I should of tried and tweak the design to remove the animal features just to somehow get this concept into the game. Oh right I forgot to talk about the concept, while I did call this skin scene thx to the fashion style, it’s more like an embodiment of 2010s Mary sue aesthetic, “I’m an all powerful half angel, half demon, half fox person with magical powers and everyone loves me and is popular, but not my parents cuz they bad!!!!” Ig thats they I kinda procrastinated on editing the design cuz I’m attached to the animal features ;-;. Oh and the clutter of colours, boy was it fun to go all out with it cuz usually for me I like to hv 8 colours max when designing a character. Ok Ima stop rambling on this skin :p

Mr Doombringer - Toon

Last one and for this I didn’t even post this on the suggestions despite finishing cuz I wasn’t a fan of it, I think is that it doesn’t feel like Doombringer (Yes I’m aware I could tagged it as an oc, but I don’t like that). Anyways as you can see here, I based this on the old rubber hose cartoons and I only did this cuz I want to give Doombringer a comically large hammer thx to the ust of toon shed vs toon 1x lms for forsaken.

So yeee, thats all the concept skins I’ve created so far and I think I’ll make more when I hv the chance :p

Tarabyte: Her design itches my brain in the right way, it has to be the rainbows cuz it’s been god knows how long since I’ve drawn a rainbow character. Also I didn’t want to draw the mechanical wing so cute angel anime wing thing it is :p

Dusekkar: His concept art looks like he’s done with everyone’s bullcrap and I channeled that energy into this lol. He’s prob depressed from being a support and now I headcannon Brighteyes and him being besties cuz they talk crap over people cuz of their jobs

Sorcus: I guess I turned him into a homeless reaper who smokes and drinks. HECK YEAH I LOVE HIM!!!! Oh also him and Tarabyte are married (and irl too which is ebic) and bro holy crap at first I was meh it’s cool but when I drew them I ship the living crap out of them and I got a sketch of they dancing so expect that to appear someday :D (Fun fact but I was going to add the scythe into the artwork but I got lazy so yeee, kinda regret it but eh it is what it is)
