I wanted to mix the found family and fever prompt as a comic but it took longer than I thougth it will so it arrived late today XD

I was disappointed I didn’t have time to do anything for @frootysparkycakes‘s Teru Week, but I remembered I wrote a drabble last year that actually fits one of the prompts! I might expand on it sometime.

For Teru Week Day 3, Prompt: Phone Call

Teru & Reigen, Angst

TW: Panic Attack, Nausea

STUPID. STUPID. He thought he could be free? He thought he could be safe? What an idiot. Of course there were still people coming after him. Why did he think otherwise? He was an esper, a natural weapon. The government had seen first hand the danger they could pose. Of course they'd want to control any possible threats. Teru's breathing quickened. Did they know that Kageyama was the cause of the recent incident? Would they be coming after him soon? Teru imagined Kageyama captured, experimented on, forced to use his powers to harm... Teruki's heart thudded in his chest painfully. He clutched at it helplessly, taking short, shuddering breaths. His hands and feet tingled numbly. Teru felt nausea rise up from the pit of his stomach and into his throat. He doubled over, gagging on air. He couldn't catch his breath. He was choking with no one touching him, but he still felt surrounded. 'They're going to get me, they're going to get me.' His mind raced, too fast for logic. 'I need to go.' Go where? His mind supplied no answers. All he knew was that he had to run. He had to run because they were after him. They were always after him. Yet he couldn't move. He sat knees to the floor, sweating and shivering.   His terror petrified him. The adrenaline coursing through him only agitated him more. 'They are coming.' His imagination spinned out of control. 'They'll take Kageyama and they'll take me. And Ritsu and Serizawa and-' The phone rang. Teru jumped. His first terrible thought was that it was the government calling him. His second far worse thought was that it was Kageyama. They had found him and he needed Teru's help. He scrambled toward the phone. "Kageyama?" "Finally you pick up. Aren't kids these days supposed to be glued to their phones? Anyway, Mob's not here. He was too worried about a math test tomorrow to be any help to me, so I sent him home. But I have a last minute appointment arriving in less than an hour and I can't exorcise it myself... I MEAN there wouldn't be any point in exorcising it myself. I clearly could do it in my sleep. But it would be a great learning experience for a younger psychic. What do you say, kid?"

Teru gasped shaky breaths as tears rolled down his cheeks. He couldn't do more than whimper in reply. "Teru? Hey, what's wrong?" He was unable to control his sobs any longer. Teru held the receiver away from him, ignoring Reigen's distant shouts. His aura swirled around him. Teru knelt in the eye of a tornado of his own making, as his possessions spun around him. He was too absorbed in his own panic to notice the thick yellow clouds billowing about his apartment.

I originally wanted to mix both prompts again but I didn't have time for a mini comic 😭 So all the "music" in this is that they're watching a musicel (Rapunzel ofc)
