Poni Island’s lack of significant human civilizations made it great for stargazing. It held a different meaning for Necrozma. It wasn’t just a simple matter of looking for shapes and patterns or admiring pretty colors. Rather, he was surveying. Were there new stars? Faded stars? Which stars were growing in size?
It had a bit of a calming effect. Sometimes menial tasks were good for that. Necrozma rested his head on his upper wings. His ethereal body sank into the sand. Not too warm or too cool. A rarity for him.
And yet, there was something disturbing his peace. Necrozma’s tendrils twitched. Multicolored speckled peppered his mismatched eyes.
