Tess confronts Gabe and she's not afraid of him. She tells him she has chosen a side and it is not his. I’m with JT when he tells Tess he never doubted her, but I do believe she doubted herself, if just for a little bit. Look at Gabe's face when Tess told him she picked a side and it isn't his!😵

Season 2: Cat and Mouse

Gabe moves on to threaten Tess. She calls him out on his “beast-hypocrisy” and tells him that he is just a scorned lover. Well said, Tess!👍 Even though Tess forces Gabe to release JT, she sees the terrible risks the people she cares about are taking. Gabe tells her to pick a side, to uphold the law and help him protect Cat, and for a moment she hesitates. Tess has often been the voice of reason in the team; the one least caught up in the passion, the blind loyalty. You can see her weighing the options, the goals. She is a cop after all and she wants to do the right thing to protect her loved ones. Gabe has officially shed his Mr. Nice Guy mask and is launching a full campaign against Vincent. The guy is totally heartbroken and has no problem using all of his authority and power to take vengeance for losing Cat. But, the interesting part about Gabe is that he genuinely believes that he’s doing everything for Cat’s best interest and protection. He even had Tess jumping on his bandwagon for a second there convincing her that if they don’t capture Vincent, Cat will be the most jeopardized as she loses her job and possibly ends up in jail too.

TESS: And so, what, now you're the-the paragon of justice? After everything you used to do? Give me a break. We both know you're just doing this, 'cause Cat chose Vincent over you.👮‍♀️👏

Season 2: Beast is the New Black

Back at the prison, “Dr. Forbes” arrives to “retake some blood samples”. As soon as Vincent sits down, Detective Vargas “from IA” takes MILLER , the gullible guard, away to talk about some case.
