Pyramid Shell (2022) - When you take one corner off of a cube, it's called a "diminished cube". Here you can see four diminished cubes attached to a central tetrahedron. This wobbly shape reminded me of something: diatoms! So to make it look more organic, I wrapped the shape in glue-soaked twine, then left it with a simple white gesso paint layer.

Tetrahedral Earth

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone and taught the deaf, he also developed an early version of the iron lung. He invented the ancestor of the FAX machine. He bred a strain of 6 and 8-nippled sheep to do better at nursing lambs. He pushed for the use of ethyl alcohol in place of fossil fuels.
