There is a new kid on the block in the realm of shads rigged with an articulated texan hook. After the Fiiish Black Minnow, Delalande Swat Shad and Illex Sprat Shad, the French fishing tackle company Sakura introduces the Tex’Shad for 2016.
Just like the aforementioned lures, the Tex’Shad is a soft swimbait rigged on an articulated jig head with an offset worm hook. This type of lure allows you to fish over rocky and reefy ground without snagging up all the time. The very soft plastic material and weight distribution give the Tex’Shad a tight rolling action, even when working the lure at slow speed – as advised by Sakura. To top things off the paddletail provides plenty of vibrations as well. The Tex’Shad is available in 4” (100 mm, 7,4 g) and 4.75” (120 mm, 13,7 g). The first can be combined with 15g, 20g and 25g jig heads. The 120 mm shad is designed for use with 20g, 30g and 40g jig heads. Surely some interesting new stuff for next year's bass season...
