Making art became an important part of my life when I wandered into the art section of my local library as a teenager.  With little formal art training I consider myself a self-taught artist.  I prefer to mix different art styles like you would choose a mixture of different mediums, as another tool in my paint box. Not unlike a collage that can have various sections of abstraction, figures, photos and anything  picked up in my random imagination.
