So I'm going to answer those football questions here because no one gave me a number and I'm bored.

1. Your favorite team FC Barcelona ^^ 

2. Your least favorite team I obviously don't hold Real Madrid in very high regard, but I also have it in for Betis.  Don't even get me started on how much I hate Betis. 

3. Your least favorite player in EPL I honestly have no idea.  I'd probably say Torres though, because that whole Liverpool thing last year was just waaaaaay not cool, bro. 

4. Your least favorite player in La Liga I honestly don't think I have one.  I'm not the hugest fan of CRon, but that's mostly because I hate penalty kicks and he's always taking them so that he can win the Pichichi.  But I don't hate him or anything.  He's a striker, it's what he does.

5. Your favorite player in EPL I don't have one.  Really, I don't. 

6. Your favorite player in La Liga Ahhhhhh.  Um, probably Xavi Hernández, because he's my favorite player on Barça so it only follows that he's my favorite in the Liga. 

7. Your favorite coach JOSEP GUARDIOLA I SALA.  F. T. W.  *__________________*

9. Your favorite WAG I always thought Elsa was way fierce and adorable (well, for as long as I knew of her, anyway).  But since she's not a WAG anymore, I honestly don't care.  Team!Elsa 

10. Your least favorite WAG I don't have one. 

11. Your favorite couple Again, I was totally all about the Xavi/Elsa.  But since they are no longer, I don't care (I didn't even care then, to be honest, but whatever).  David Villa and his wife are totally adorable, though. 

12. Your least favorite couple I don't have one.  Don't care enough, to be honest. 

13. Your favorite Bromance Either Xavi and Iker --because seriously, come on, they are adorable-- or Víctor Valdés and Iniesta --because the fact that they call each other hermano is so precious I squeal every time I see it--.

14. Your favorite national team Yeesh, well, um, until Catalunya and Euskal Herria become autonomous states I'll have to say Spain.  Though I've been kind of "meh" lately about them.  They're just the only national team I've ever really supported (since 1998).

15. Your least favorite national team I'm not a fan of England or Italy, really.  All the others I'm pretty nonchalant about. 

16. EPL or La liga? Oh, La Liga.  By far.  By. Faaaaaaaar.  [I haven't watched an EPL match since 2008.  I am proud of this fact.]

17. Favorite Goalkeeper Víctor Valdés.  Closely followed by Gorka Iraizoz.  Because.  GORKAAAAAA.  *___________*

18. Favorite Defender Toss-up between Carles Puyol and Éric Abidal.  But if I could only choose one...I'd probably go with Puyi.

19. Favorite striker EEEPS.  Um.  DavidFernando VillaLlorente.  :D  Though I think Llorente takes it even though he's been fangirled to death by now.  I've just loved him since before he was ~famous and I just really really love him.

20. Favorite midfielder Xavi Hernández.  This one's a no-contest.

21. A footballer you knew since you were a child Like...one who's actually playing?  Because I have vague recollections of Xavi playing back when he was a young'un, but other than that...  Julen Guerrero, Joseba Etxeberria, Pep Guardiola...  *__________* 

22. Since when did you start watching football? This one has a two-part answer.  I first started watching football in November of 1997, right after we moved to Spain.  I wasn't too terribly interested in it back then, but I did start watching it.  Most recently though, I started watching it again in October/November of 2007. 

23. Since when did you support you favorite team? I've supported Barcelona officially since March 2008.  Unofficially since 1998 or so, since Athletic was my number-one team back then and my brother and best friend liked Barcelona.

24. A footballer you would want to marry Xavi.

25. A footballer you like in secret, and no one would expect you love him I...honestly have no idea how to answer this question.  I've kind of always had a "thing" for Raúl though.  IDEC

Day 17 - Something that you’re proud of

Before 2009 I had no idea how to answer this question or what to say.  More than anything, I was proud of the background I'd had and what it had given me.  But other than that, in terms of achievements, I wouldn't have had an answer.

Now I do.  Teaching myself a language and then being able to fully converse in it with no trouble, making native speakers believe they were talking to someone who'd at least spent a couple years living in their part of the world as opposed to zero, is by far the thing that I'm most proud of.

Sure, it's a language similar to one I already spoke and had been speaking for ten years prior, but languages are languages, and this one in so many ways is more complicated.

And somehow, within a year, I found myself understanding what I was listening to in the language, found myself being able to communicate with native speakers, and within two years I had native speakers asking me how much time I'd spent in their area because I spoke so well.  And when I finally worked up the courage to call up my favorite radio station, despite being at an unfortunate loss for words due to nerves, I felt like I'd finally made it.

Something I'd started out of curiosity became one of the greatest loves of my life and despite being far from my first or even second language I found myself using it more often that at least the second, and it even comes easier to me.

I cannot imagine my life without being able to speak this language even if it's only been in my life for two years.

Day 16 - Something you always think “What if…” about

What if I'd actually tried harder in high school to get into a better school?

A university is a university education, an undergrad degree is a degree, and my final year of university was one of the most challenging I'd ever had.  In a good way.  I finally felt like I was studying something that was worthwhile and that I enjoyed, while having to write a lot of papers and do projects and presentations, but all that work felt good because I felt like I was working for something, and I truly enjoyed what I was studying.

But I wasn't happy at my school, it took four years for me to enjoy university and despite spending a semester in Spain through them, I could never manage to fully enjoy my time there and feel like I belonged.  It's not something that eats away at me every single day, but sometimes I do wonder where I'd be if I took university more seriously in high school and had been able to get into my first choice school.

Either way, I'd probably still require a masters degree, and I do feel like my last year was totally worth the four boring years I spent getting to that fifth year that was far more enjoyable despite the work load.  But I have to wonder.

Day 15 - Your zodiac/horoscope and if you think it fits your personality

I'm a Leo.  I don't know all the details about being a Leo, and since I'm really not into astrology and horoscopes at all I can't really say whether it fits my personality really well or not.  A lot of the things I've read lead me to believe that yeah, I am definitely a Leo, but since my horoscope doesn't guide how I live my life I don't pay too much attention to it.  I've just never subscribed to the belief that the stars and their alignment have more to do with who I am than who I want to be.

Day 14 - What you wore today

A set of tank tops I got at Ardene.

Dark blue skinny jeans.

A long necklace with the Eiffel Tower I got at Forever 21 a couple years ago.

My H&M boots.

Honestly, I thought I looked hot today.  And didn't feel dressed-down/goofy at all when we walked a little through the posh part of town with all the designer shops.

This never happens to me.  I'll take the slightly blistered and sore feet for the way I felt walking through those streets feeling hot.

Day 13 - Your opinion about your body and how comfortable you are with it

I actually really hate talking about my body because I have serious self-esteem issues.

So I'll just leave this at "I don't hate it, but I am far far far from loving it".
