hello!! well firstly, thank you for reading a love that endures!! yoongi really is my favorite boy to write ;0; he really has become my muse over the past four years,,, and i’m glad you enjoy how i write him because!! i!! love he!! and i’m sorry for making you feel emotions but i hope it made you feel good regardless 🥲

and for your lib question... yes i did mention that i wanted to change some things for yoongi, but probably not in the way you think?? like, i kind of regret the ending i gave for him, not because it was sad (yoongi = sad is just my default setting i suppose hJSAHDJSA) but because i wish i hadn’t put too much emphasis on how he still loves oc during the final chapters of the smau. i feel like i shouldn’t have made him “mourn” the loss of his potential to be with oc as much as i did... i only really did it bc i didn’t know how else to reveal to the readers that he used to love (or debatably, still loves) oc without it being mentioned out of the blue. the biggest reason why is because i feel that from the way i was characterizing him til that point, it just wouldn’t make sense for him to be vulnerable about himself?

like, yea sure he is open to talking about deeply emotional topics with his friends (esp w/ jungkook and oc), but never really about himself... i imagined him to be good at giving advice to his friends, but terrible at revealing parts of himself to others. so i don’t think he’d be the type to indirectly tell oc that he loves her, especially when she’s already interested in someone else bc he’d feel like he’d be guilt tripping her or something (thankfully, oc is as dense as a rock so he’s safe) but i guess in the end, his vulnerability isn’t much of a stretch in the narrative sense, so i’m not too hung up about it.

another smaller reason as to why i wish i hadn’t made him so hung up on oc is bc i want him to get over her quicker and be happy HASJDHJASH this is a much more selfish desire of mine because i am, at my barest essentials, a large wobbling simp for mister min yoongi. i may make him sad in my fics from time to time, but i also try to give him a happy ending. i feel that with the way i ended the story, he does have a chance at happiness (i can imagine jimin being a huge part in that wink wonk), but it’ll definitely be delayed by his own inability to get over oc for a while. so tldr i want yoobie be happy!!
