okay see i just thought about comic 6 again and i had a thought i need to get out-

so, scouts death scene right? great start, i know, but scout is like "hey, you know- id always imagine a song of yours would play at my funeral." and spy is not surprised at all scout wouldve wanted that, and proceeds to ask which one, fully expecting his son to say "sexbomb, of course!"

instead scout says "green green grass of home"

and well- spy just nods, and he already took the lie THAT far?

so he sings the song to scout, keeps singing once scout peacefully passes, even once the disguise is off, gradually becoming more quiet, still holding his son

How did I never post this one

I reread some of comic 6 this morning bc i was looking for sources to cite on my website and once again, i was reminded of ONE OF MANY GREAT INJUSTICES FACED BY SNIPER.

Spy was shot by Virgil. What did Sniper do? He fucking sprinted around up the stairs, clearly panicked, THREW HIMSELF INTO A DOOR TO FORCE IT OPEN, TEARING HIS STITCHES IN THE PROCESS, dragged himself over to the window, lost his trousers and probably cut himself on the glass, shuffled across a windowledge ass naked smearing his own blood across it, and then swung in and shot Virgil.

And Spy wouldn't even give the man his suit jacket. Sigh! What a world.
