Leo as a (yokai) cat!

Technically a reupload, but its been AGES since i last uploaded this so <3

Flat version now included! I did the shading a long time ago to figure out the 3d dimensions. I adjusted his markings aswell, not a big change but on the original design, the stripes down his back looked messy and interrupted the flow SO i simplified/changed the color i used there when i came back to work on this AU.

I headcanon that Mayhems (and now TFF!Leos) species is a Komainu! The wiki is pretty helpful about explaining what they are here.

But for the sake of this AU, theyre actual living creatures! Theyre seen as more "a sign of goodluck/protection" when they hang around buildings, theres probably some even trained/raised to watch over places, can be creative with the AU lore :D

In the TFF au.. how much you wanna bet Leo keeps up the beauty routine even as a cat? We know he did beauty routines.. but now.. cat..

LMAO. With all that fur??? Gosh it would take forever to clean himself! A beauty routine would be so time consuming.

He just licks himself like the (un)dignified gentleman he is.

At some point he would find a way to make someone to pay for a visit to the yokai version of a pet grooming place. They have all the nicest shampoos!

I leave a breadcrumb in the answer of an ask just to see if anyone will notice why i decided to reveal that Leo/Havoc in my TFF AU can still manifest his katanas even as a yokai cat once he reunlocks his ninpo.

And. NO ONE. Is picking up what i put down *cries*.

Plot reasons. So close...

Freaking hilarious vision, its a shame he isnt bipedal xD but when his brothers actually find out hes Leo, they definitely make puss in boots jokes at his expense.

They cant be used by him as an offensive weapon anymore (L to Leo his paws arnt designed for holding things anymore) but more as a strategic tool. Say for instance, if someone else across the battlefield kept one of his katanas on their person, and Leo was on the other side of the battlefield and needed to transport someone to his spot right away or move them out of harms way, switching places via ninpo katanas is faster than teleporting twice to pick someone up!

If he were to hold one, it would be like this:

Portal kitty but PURPLE! Normal Komainu portals are sparkly and small, it looks like they get sucked into it to fit and it looks like a flash of light! Their portals dont stay open or act like a dimensional door, they they appear and disappear the moment theyre used.

She looks so cool as a divider!! I still dont have a name for this girl, do u have any name suggestions??! i really cant think of any that fit D:

Combined it with the Havoc/Leo version and the result is very cool to look at.
