Diane had just finished her coffee and was set to leave the cafe, when she noticed - thankfully before she had tried pulling it on - that her coat was trapped under the seat of the man at the table behind her. She cleared her throat, and went to stand by him, saying, "Excuse me, but I think your chair is on my coat." Strangely, she felt she recognised him, and she searched her memory for a moment before saying, "Is that Harry Kress? Oh my goodness, it's been an age. It's Diane, Diane Ahearn."

Date with the Devil // Harry and Elena

Harry Kress. Elena’s luck would dictate that she got the bastard who was making her new friend’s life miserable, but the woman thought that perhaps she could use this might to her advantage. Aside from what Meg had told her about the man, Elena knew little about him. Her behavior must remain civil until she could form her own opinion on him, even then she should be cautious of seeming rude. This was a charity event after all. The brunette refused to sour his taste on participating in the events when they were for a good cause. For all the women knew, he had spent a tidy sum winning this date with her. That alone was worth behaving for the evening. Stripping off the belly dancer outfit with a pout, thee tiny brunette pulled one of her more elegant dresses from the closet erroring on being overly dressed. Kress’ plan was a complete mystery to her. She could be stuck staying at the Underground all night or they could be spending the evening at his place. Tonight would be completely up to him.

Exiting the cab, Elena ignored the line to get into the club. Making employees work on Christmas Day was completely deplorable, but there were a lot of lonely people in Regium. Kress was obviously a business man monopolizing on the lonely. Elena loathed it. The employees should have been able to send the evening with their families, but she could deal with that once she got Kress to like her. Smiling at the bouncer, she allowed the red lace strap of her dress to fall from her shoulder. “Hi honey. Is the boss man in?” The way that he grinned at her was all that the brunette needed to know. Without another word, she continued into the club hoping not to run into someone that she knew. Her flair of anger need not be ignited by the poor treatment of those she knew. Holding her skirt up as to not trip over the hem while she ascended the steps, she paused outside of the only door with a light still on. Knocking on the door, Elena opened it only a bit. “Mr. Kress?”

Lily let herself into Harry's office, making a conscious effort to control her temper. "We've got a problem." she informed him simply. "And it could be a big one."

Lily couldn’t help but chuckle when Harry asked what she expected in return for these new recruits. “You’ve trained me better than to make deals simply for charity.” She had him on the hook, she thought to herself with a smirk, settling into one of the arm chairs with graceful ease. “I don’t want to dance anymore.” she said, evenly, commandingly, but not overbearing. She knew exactly how to talk to Harry. “I want off the pole. Instead, I’ll be your informant and I’ll keep these new recruits in line.” she leaned forward, purposely letting the collar of her shirt fall forward to reveal her cleavage. “People confide in me. Everybody loves a pretty face. But honey, I may be pretty as an angel, but I sure as hell ain’t one. Everything I hear comes back to you.”

Lily’s mouth was nearly a grin when Kress agreed to her terms. “Thank you.” she said, not that the outcome surprised her. She stood up, smoothing her skirt. With a nod, she left the office, retrieving her coat from her room before slipping out the back door and into the night. Her boys had some good news coming, they all did. The only wildcard was Peter Payne.
