Hmm I think the only way to get yours signed is to either attend an event or buy one (i've seen some at non-bookstores). But if you pre-ordered and yours wasn't signed, you can get a bookplate! Some info on that is here.

my school's j-scribbled copy has a blue scribble. (it's rather sad, my school has a j-scribbled copy and i don't)
You know, you could always offer a switch! Like give them your book and you can take theirs. If yours is in fairly new condition then they would want to take it(well from volunteering at libraries I have learned this)
