In the break of October 31st, Thomas Hwang releases an original track ‘Photographs’ along with its music video on Jigsaw’s official Youtube channel.
Photographs is a slow tempo track with subtleties of the melody. The bass pounds along with finger clicks in the background during the verses. However, the beauty lies in the chorus, with the swelling of the electronic keyboard and guitar building to create the feeling of warmth. The lyrics sing of making and cherishing memories, and wishing that time would slow down so that each moment can be remembered. The accompanying MV is aesthetically beautiful, capturing moments from day-to-day life in Chicago that matches the mood of the song very well.
Thomas stated that Photographs is a birthday gift for his fans. He also added, “Conflicts are present during the time I made this track. I over calculate, and think, simply because I want the best [for the fans]. In the end, I came into a realization that music is universal, and that [you] will understand [my] feelings no matter what.
