Oh my god. Thomas has heard everything there is about Anthony and Toby, he could probably recite everything and finish Raven’s sentences by now. She kept on going on and on and he finally just took her jacket in his hand and pulled her in for a kiss. It was one way to stop her from talking.
Finally the male pulled away to look her in the eyes. “You just need to stop talking about your family for five minutes… I’ve heard it all, Raven.”
All Raven wanted was to talk about her day to Thomas, a man she felt was becoming a good friend to her. Sure, she found him reasonably attractive but it was not a sexual attraction. It was purely all aesthetics as she was about to tell the man the time when her cousin Patty locked her in a closet full of spiders... and then...

The archangel’s hazel eyes were wide when Thomas pulled away and she slowly raised a hand to touch her lips. In all her life, especially while thinking she was human, no one had ever kissed her before. Her cheeks suddenly felt hot and she was sure that she was now blushing. Blushing! Maybe there was something there after all... but she had to make sure...
“So you kissed me to shut me up?” Raven asked in a near whisper, her eyes starting to narrow.
