I was scrolling through Subwoolfer's Twitter, and
They know about the Dutch ANWB 'praatpalen'
(Lore: These used to be at the side of highroads back in the day, when you'd have an issue with your vehicle, you'd search for an ANWB pole at the side of the road, and you'd press the yellow button and it would make a direct phone call to ANWB road help services. It had a speaker you could just stand there talking to and you could hear them through. The 'flaps' were to enclose from the highroad noise for a clearer call in the position. Nowadays these have all been removed. Some have been converted into electric car charging poles.)
