heatwave
Instead of fueling his adventurous spirit, he should have planted himself in front of a fan with a cooler of icy treats. He had invited @lgcjino to take a wakeboarding beginner class on the hottest day of the month yet. He should have turned around the moment the wetsuit was handed to him, but that would mean the two of them wouldn't have shared the hilarious experience of struggling together while putting them on. He glances down with a grimace at the sunscreen mist in his right hand, contemplating whether he should spray it on his face. He recalls the irritation that lingered for hours when he did that the last time playing soccer, and yet, he still hadn't bought sunscreen lotion for his face.
"Do you have sunscreen for your face?" He asks as a last hail mary for his eyes. He figures he could cover his eyes and then spray his face, working in the sunscreen into his skin to avoid irritating his eyes. "I'll be prepared better next time..." He mumbles, knowing that was another lie, or wishful thinking. He would mature eventually in that regard. He rejoices when the instructor tosses him a small tube of sunscreen lotion. "I owe you one!"
