I'm going to be slightly random on the Unusual Asks- how bout 9, 10,14, 48, 93, 94, 98. :)

9: Where do you shop?

-Thrift stores, mostly, for clothes. Jewelry and knick-knacks come from any number of random corners of the internet.

10: How would you describe your style?

-Quasi-Victorian, I guess? If I had more money… As it stands, dresses and ankle boots and an increasing collection of Weird jewelry.

14: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

-Not here… I’d like to find someplace with an average temperature of 50F and lots of cloud cover. Sunlight is Not My Friend.

48: Who is your role model?

-I don’t know that I have one, now I think of it. Plenty of artists/content creators that I look up to and/or lean on for comfort, but no one I’d want to be given the option. (that may be the wrong definition of role model, but I’m standing by it.)

93: Last thing you ate?

-Plum wine mochi. It’s absolutely the best thing, and the grocery store I generally go to has it for fairly cheap.

94: Favourite lyrics right now?

98: Favourite month?

-October. Partially because I like the idea of Halloween, but mostly because that’s when the weather starts to do what I want it to. Also February, for similar reasons. Grey and drear and generally awful; I love it. (Clive Barker called it the “Great Grey Beast February” and I adore that.)

D. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through.

It’s a toss-up, I think, between Carpet-Man and the aftermath thereof and Jekyl and Hyde. Jekyl and Hyde probably, since I had to keep going back even after it all went tits-up.

E. My best friend.

Shebby! She’s all sorts of awesome; fabulous artist, damn good writer, excellent fashion sense, and the best friend I’ve ever had. 

J. What I want to be when I get older.

A shapeshifter with a shit-ton of money and access to , if not a teleporter, at least a private jet.

K. Relationship with my parents.

My mum and I get along really well most days. My dad... is a douchecanoe. But he can’t help it, I think.

P. Why I hate school.

(I like that it just assumes everyone does...) Because I don’t do well when people tell me how and when to do things. Plus I hate hate hate research papers.

S. A random fact about myself.

I get very very possessive/protective of people that I claim as “mine”. I won’t stand up for myself if it’s easier to just deal with whatever sucks, but if someone I love is being treated poorly I tend to go protective-mother-cat really quickly. (Directors who tell me I suck and make me cry are part and parcel of how things are. Directors who make my actors cry are Not Okay and must be Spoken To.)

T. Age I get mistaken for.

Anywhere from 14 to mid thirties, depending on if the person in question has seen me or heard of me or heard me speak or just known me online.

X. What would you do if (you were the protagonist in your favorite short story you've written)?

Well. The Little Girl sort of is me anyway. But, if I was the protagonist in any of the others... I would hug everyone I could get near, particularly Thor. And spend a great deal of time in demi-form running around on rooftops and whatnot. (Teazer’s the protag in virtually everything I write, so...)

Nothing particularly terrible/unusual right now.

Exhaustion, general heat-based pissiness, and a heaping dose of envy that I’m really hoping will fade soon.

Not really? First was a really bad kisser, but without him I’d not have had Second, nor the courage to do a lot of what I’m doing with my life, so… no.

Elena/Steve, Mikel/Teazer, annnnd idk one of your own choosing xD

Elena/Steve

Makes the bed in the mornings: Elena, probably. She’s inclined to neaten things as she goes, because it’s easier to come back to later.

Has sole possession of the T.V. remote: They trade, in theory. In practice, Steve ends up with it for at least three months leading up to Christmas, and Elena claims it for the month of February (so she can watch terrible slasher films, preferably the ‘everyone ends up dead’ variety.)

Is the bigger cuddler: Steve. Elena doesn’t mind cuddles, necessarily, but it’s largely Steve to initiate.

Does the laundry: They split it; Steve sorts and loads, Elena folds and puts away.

Mows the lawn: When and if they have a lawn, Steve does it. Elena refuses on principle, preferring to let it grow wild.

Shops for groceries: Given that they mostly live in New York City, Elena has a habit of having groceries delivered. She’s never liked shopping, and less so when she doesn’t have to.

Comes home drunk at 3am: Can either of them get drunk? Steve’s all super-soldier and ‘Lena is  Russian and a sometimes spy, so…

Makes breakfast: Steve. For months when their relationship started, he kept trying to make her breakfast in bed, but by the time he’d come back she was up, showered and dressed, and had made the bed.

Remembers to feed the fish: Elena refuses pets, so if Steve wants ‘em, he’s in charge of ‘em. 

Decorates the apartment: Also Steve. Elena prefers things pretty bare and personality-free. That said, once they’re a couple she makes sure there’s something to appeal to him in all her places.

Initiates duets: Elena, typically. Not on purpose, though, Steve just tends to join in when he catches her singing.

Falls asleep first: Elena, for the first time in her life probably. She’d never admit it, but she feels safer sleeping with him around.

Mikel/Teazer

Makes the bed in the mornings: Mikel. Drilled into it, most likely, but there you are. Teazer’s never really had a bed, so she doesn’t see the point of making one.

Has sole possession of the T.V. remote: Mikel, technically. But Teazer’s perfected the art of throwing things at the tv to change the channel.

Is the bigger cuddler: Teazer. Always and forever, although she’s determined to train him into it.

Does the laundry: Mikel, mostly by virtue of having enough clothes to be laundered. (Teazer’s resist dirt and wrinkles pretty spectacularly.)

Mows the lawn: Neither of them have ever had a lawn to be mowed. If ever they did, though, Teazer’d probably make Mikel do it… while she sat in the shade with a glass of lemonade.

Shops for groceries: Teazer shoplifts for groceries. Mikel actually pays for things. Mostly they pick up things when and as they need them.

Comes home drunk at 3am: On the rare occasions when they get to drink to that point, they do so in their own home in the first place and together.

Makes breakfast: Mikel. Teazer is more of a baker than a cook, so she’s officially in charge of special occasion snacks and once-a-week cookies.

Remembers to feed the fish: They don’t keep fish after the Incident with Mikel’s betas. Teazer regrets nothing.

Decorates the apartment: Teazer. With bizarre things she’s found in alleys and weird spots, too.

Initiates duets: Teazer. And if Mikel doesn’t join in, she’ll sing both parts.

Falls asleep first: They drop off about the same time, but they’re both very light sleepers for the most part.

Teazer/Loki (shush you, I love this ship very unreasonably)

Makes the bed in the mornings: Loki. (And mostly with magic, because why the hell not?)

Has sole possession of the T.V. remote: Teazer tends to get it, since she wants to watch Lifetime movies; Loki spends more time watching her reactions than the movies themselves.

Is the bigger cuddler: Teazer. And as always, is working endlessly at training Loki to cuddle back.

Does the laundry: Magic yet again. (And Teazer suspects that Loki’s just swiping new clothes from somewhere every time his get dirty.)

Mows the lawn: Their lawn has always been made up of wildflowers.

Shops for groceries: Mostly Teazer; Loki doesn’t like to bother. She’s made a game of seeing how much of it she can get away with unpaid for.

Comes home drunk at 3am: Teazer’s done it a couple times. Loki just laughs at her mostly, but somehow there’s always hangover remedy on the bedside table when she wakes up.

Makes breakfast: Loki. He likes cooking; says it’s soothing.

Remembers to feed the fish: Loki at least knows better than to have fish in a house with a cat…

Decorates the apartment: Teazer, same as above. Loki will go through periodically and make things look a little more classy/tasteful/coordinated.

Initiates duets: Teazer. Loki has a surprisingly good singing voice, when she can get him to sing with her.

Falls asleep first: Teazer. She likes napping on him, in cat form or elsewise.

Sorting books would be a bad idea; I’d start reading and never get anywhere. Cleaning trophies wouldn’t be bad, though. Cauldron scrubbing would be a bit hit or miss. Gag reflex and all.

I think I’d be good at Charms. And probably Potions. Rubbish at History of Magic, though, and not so good with the DADA practical.35. At what time do you think you’ll go to bed on weekdays?

Teazer/Mikel (cause I want to know what Teazer's family thought of Mikel XD)

Who would be the big spoon?

I think they take turns, really. But sometimes Teazer’ll just turn cat so he has to snuggle her.

Who would wake up first?

Erm… I don’t know? Teazer’s used to being up pretty early (though by rights she’s nocturnal.), but I suspect Mikel is up early for work a lot? I don’t think either of them are really morning people, though.

Do they have nicknames for each other?

Yes and no. If they use nicknames at all, they’re horrifically sickly sweet ones used solely to annoy each other/weird out Nick.

What happened when they met each other’s parents/families?

We know what happened when Teazer and Nick met… (he promptly put her to work, naturally.) When Teazer finally caved and introduced Mikel to her family… Hrm. I think this needs to be proper Story, actually. I shall write it out within the week. (I know, I know, copout. Shoosh.)

How do they apologise after an argument?

*snorts* Sex, probably. Or they just… don’t. They go on a chase or a mission or something and just never mention the argument again.

What would they be like as parents?

Good, I think, but not really… around? Like, neither of ‘em would give up their job/outside life for a kid, not really.

Who is the better cook?

Mikel. By default if nothing else. Teazer doesn’t cook at all; she never had to learn.

Who is more romantic?

Teazer, I think. Though neither of them really goes for the traditional romance thing.

What sort of gifts do they get for each other?

Practical ones. Gear, and weapons, and the like. (Although they picked up the tradition of finding the most tacky/useless Valentine’s gifts they could. There’s a small storage unit just outside of NYC that holds all of them.)

Who gets jealous easiest?

Erm… Mikel? I don’t know enough about him to know, really…

Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas?

Teazer has really liked Christmas since the first time she and Elena celebrated one. And she does like wrapping paper and sparkly things…

Who is the most protective?

Teazer. Though she mostly hides it. She follows him whenever she can, keeping an eye on him and making sure he’s not getting himself hurt, and her network of spies have instructions to do the same.

How do they sleep (separate, snuggled up, chaotically tangled)?

As I said, Teazer tends to shift and demand snuggles. Mostly she’ll drape herself over his hip.

What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?

Constantly getting into trouble. Falling out of trees, getting stuck in storm drains, “running away” to the woods.

Do they have any “small” traditions/gestures?

No matter what else is going on in their lives, they find time whenever they can to play chase games through whatever city they happen to be in. And Mikel picked up the habit of always having cream in the kitchen.

Dear Santa!

Dear Santa,

If by some miracle I’m on the “good” list this year, there’s only one thing I want. Plane tickets. I have these people, you see, and I love them very much, but they’re all over the place and I can’t afford to get to them. So all I want for Christmas is the ability to get on a plane and go hug people.
