Actor Ritika Singh Injured on Set; Takes Break from Rajinikanth's Film Shoot
Actor Ritika Singh faced an unfortunate mishap while filming her upcoming project, sustaining injuries on an undisclosed set. Although not specifying the film set, speculation points toward Rajinikanth and director TJ Gnanavel's unrevealed project, Thalaivar 170. Sharing visuals of her wounds on social media, Ritika attributed her injury to broken glass.
Initially, Ritika posted a picture on Instagram Stories, humorously captioning it, "Looks like I got into a fight with a werewolf!" Subsequently, she shared a video recounting the incident, expressing regret and acknowledging losing control, resulting in the accident.
The actor revealed her decision to pause filming and seek medical attention at a hospital. Despite not feeling immediate discomfort, she anticipated pain due to the depth of some injuries, expressing hopes for a swift recovery to resume shooting.
In response to the incident, a Twitter user conveyed support to Ritika, referring to an incident during the filming of a high-energy fight scene in Thalaivar 170.
Ritika Singh gained prominence as a kickboxer-turned-actor through the 2016 Tamil movie 'Irudhi Suttru' alongside Madhavan. The film was also released in Hindi as 'Saala Khadoos' and remade in Telugu as 'Guru' with Venkatesh. Her recent works include the 2023 Hindi film 'InCar,' the Tamil movie 'Kolai,' and a special appearance in the Malayalam film 'King of Kotha.'
