Listen, i don’t care if it’s romantic/platonic/barely put up with, but in totk, Link and Zelda share that bed. I didn’t spend all those rupees so Link could sleep on the floor, Nintendo. You couldn’t even give him a bed under the stairs? WHERE’S THE SIGN THAT SAYS “LINK’S HOUSE” NINTENDO. COMMIT TO THE SHIP OR AT LEAST PUT TWO FRICKING BEDS IN THE HOUSE THIS IS MALARKEY
#rose and rambles#im replaying botw and did the house quest again and *clenches fist* i forgot the sign#THEY TOOK AWAY LINK'S SIGN#POOR GUY DOESN'T HAVE ANYONE BUT TRAINED ASSASSINS REMEMBERING HIS FACE AND YOU TOOK AWAY HIS SIGN#This is an instance in which i think the fact that nintendo is afraid to commit to certain aspects of Link's character is more harmful#than not#like#i do not think Link is self-insert for the player i don't think he's ever been super successful as one#and in botw totk its clear theres a lot more we get that delves into Link as his own person#so i think the weird wishy-washy does he actually have feelings for this person is just unnecessary#like the fact that nintendo can't seem to pick so they leave evidence for *any* outcome is the problem#and that is best seen in the house#like in all accounts with how link is always traveling with zelda anD HER BODYGUARD he should AT MINIMUM have a house next door#that's just job related#so even if he did just give the whole thing to Zelda it still begs the question of WHERE DOES HE SLEEP?!?!?!!?!#SURELY NOT AT THE INN IN HATENO IF THE YIGA ATTACK#AND HE'S THAT FAR AWAY? I THINK NOT#it's just frustating#its like nintendo were like 'well we won't confirm either way whether they're together so we won't put in another bed but we won't make#the twin bed any bigger so the audience can fight amongst themselves'#JUST GIVE LINK A BED#THAT'S ALL I WANT#GIVE HIM A FRICKIN BED NINTENDO MY BOY IS ANXIOUS AND TIRED
