Here we go!! If you haven't done this before, please do so!! Talk about yourself in the One Piece universe! Whether or not you would have a Devil Fruit ability -- and, if so, what ability would you want to have the most, canon or not? What crew of pirates would you join? What position would you have on a ship?

Oh, this is fun. Also I wrote a lot so it’s under a cut.

I feel like, if I were to be in the one piece universe (in comparison to THIS one), I would want some kind of ability. I also believe though that if I were the same person that I am now, then my life experiences should still be relatively the same. Meaning that if I had an ability it would not be a focus of power but a focus of convenience because I would need something to aid me and the people around me in living comfortably.

I haven’t seen film gold yet but I understand that one of the characters have an ability that toys with the luck of others and themselves and tbh, as shitty as it is, seeing as I have been thoroughly unlucky my whole life, I’d like something along those lines :0 Though I doubt I’d be so lucky to run into such a fitting fruit.

As for which crew? I just want to have some laughs. I’d say the Strawhats because obviously, strawhats, and laughter is very prominent with them, but I’m way too laid back and chill to even assume I’d be able to keep up. I’m not sure with that one D: I’d say Shanks crew because they are normally seen doing literally nothing but chilling but I am sure there’s more to them than that and I’d be way in over my head.

I just wanna laugh so whichever crew brings about the most laughter and love but also the least amounts of near death situations. As for which position in said crew? I don’t have much to offer but I know for a fact I would be the quiet observer. Probably the position of loving crew mom. I would be Robin basically, without the smarts ^^

The one time I did it, we did it nearly like a roleplay with one another, and then after writing out the main body, we edited it together to where it made sense and flowed better. I know some people who write every other chapter and just mesh their writing styles together, but, idk if I could ever do that properly, lol. I hope you manage to get a collab going, though!! That would be fun!!
