The artist is Hidari, and she has such a lovely style.
Thank you! I saw her name mentioned on twitter by @ticcytx, but couldn’t quite remember it. I also hope she designs the characters for Fire Emblem Switch.

I started this game last year but i never finished it. I must have played 10 hours or so, but I never got really engaged with the story. I don’t know exactly what it is, normally I obsess with this type of games, but this one never got to me.
I’m sorry to hear that. ): Maybe it just wasn’t the right time for you, you weren’t in the right mood for it, or maybe it’s just not one that’s quite on your wavelength. I admit that a lot of what’s keeping me going is probably playing with a friend at the same time (she started a couple of days before me) and it’s fun trying to keep pace with each other and each knowing exactly what the other’s going through right at the same moment and talking about previous games that it reminds us of. So far the story is pretty standard fare, but I’m pretty easy for Final Fantasy games, they’re super comfortable for me, so that might be part of why the lack of intense engagement doesn’t bother me as well. peachofthesunshine replied to your post: Pretty much as soon as I logged off la...
Ringabel is pretty meh for me too. I think he gets better as you go on, so I suppose you’ll just have to be patient, but he never really reaches the levels that I love the other three.
I’m definitely trying to not talk myself out of liking Ringabel, especially since I think he probably has the most significant interaction with Edea, who is my favorite, but I’m definitely not doing well at it. :/ I’m glad to hear that he gets better as you go on (and I can certainly do some gap filling, if the HEY LADIEEEEZZZZ is covering for something else), but even more that the others really came across well for you! ♥

I found that the only English voice I didn’t like was Ringabel’s. Agnes has some quirks of her own that made her grow on me. Edea definitely was the strongest character out of the four though. Tiz…I sorta forgot about him… :/
That sounds probably like how I’m going to end up being. Ringabel’s English voice isn’t grating to me (I’ve heard some bad dubs, like, nothing is as bad as the Sands of Destruction dub, holy shit) but it’s not endearing, either. Edea’s is super cute and Agnès’ voice works for her character and Tiz’s is growing on me. (Is there a way to turn on Japanese voices for the game itself and not just when you go back and watch the videos? That I found, but the game scenes are still in English for me when I’m playing.)
