every day I come on here and I feel like I see more writers posting about how they’re feeling increasingly pressured by anon messages to post faster or more or meet impossible standards and like…….. most people in this community are so incredibly sweet, but there’s maybe .5% that don’t see fic writers as real people with real lives (and jobs and families and loved ones!!!). some writers are parents! some are caretakers! some have chronic illnesses! etc etc etc! it doesn’t matter what a person’s situation is, what matters is that they’re treated with dignity and respect and kindness, because they’re sharing their work for free! for fun!

tl;dr: don’t be immature and get pissy with a writer if they’re not posting fast enough for you or something didn’t reach your fucked up standards. we are all real people!!!! don’t ruin something for everyone else! please be nice! this isn’t the place to be mean.
