I asked her for permission and she said it alright to post it :3
This was created on march 2 2017; but I stumbled across the only saved file I had of it. Everything changed though but I remember writing a very awful draft with a particular part that interested my friend that she wrote this.
Where the Hell is she?! David screamed obscenities inside his head. He was running, and had been for hours, searching for Sarah. It was like she had disappeared into thin air---she wasn’t anywhere to be found, no matter where he ran to. He cursed under his breath, and skidded to a halt. David flopped onto the ground, panting harder than a dog. The sun blazed down from a cloudless blue sky. The heat made his armor hot, and his body even hotter; he could feel the sweat running down his arms and legs. He felt sticky and disgusting. Flinging his helmet off he sighed, wishing he could take the rest of it off. “Damn armor. Too bad it’s frowned upon to strip in public.” After resting for a few more minutes, David grabbed his helmet, slammed it back over his head, and continued on his way. He stopped dead in his tracks. In front of him, blocking his path, stood a goose. Its soulless black eyes stared straight at him, or he assumed they did. “Hey there little go---” He glared at the bird, for in its beak it held the documents he worked so hard to get for Sarah. His mouth quirked up at the corner in a crooked grin. “No, you don’t you little bastard. Give me back those papers before you become my dinner.” David wasn’t sure if the bird understood him, or if he had imagined the panicked look on the goose’s face---either way the goose began to make off with the papers, it’s wings flapping wildly but not taking off. He didn’t waste any time in lunging for the goose, and was grateful for all those years of training he endured that never seemed to wear off. A few moments later---filled with feathers flying, squawks, and grunts---he had the documents safely in hand. He felt a little sorry for the kid that passed by just a minute ago; the poor boy ran crying his head off after witnessing the murder of the goose. He realized he may have gone a bit overboard, but sacrifices had to be made. David brushed the dirt off his armor, and began walking. At some point on his journey he happened upon a strange girl hiding behind a tree. He stared at her in curiosity, and followed her line of sight to find a handsome young man. The girl seemed to be shaking from nervousness, her eyes wide as she stared at the man with . . . lust? Her fingers dug into the bark, making David wince, and she leaned forward. Shaking his head, he moved forward and tapped the girl on the shoulder. “Excuse me miss.” The girl jumped and spun around, a small squeal escaping her lips. She stared up at him at first with confusion, then she began to panic---frantically looking between David and the young man she had been staring at. She managed to squeak out a small, “yes?” “Do you happen to know of a place where I can rest?” The girl nodded, and gave detailed directions---which including frantic movements of the arms and talking rapidly---to a place that, to David’s disappointment, was farther than he had hoped. He thanked her kindly and went on his way once again. A mile or so later and David stumbled upon a trio of goblin’s. He saw that they had loot, and was reminded that he had no money on him. Bringing his hand to his side, he suddenly remembered that he had left his sword at the tavern. Looks like I’ll have to use my hands. He killed them as swiftly as possible, and in the least messy way. He went through their loot and to his dismay there was only 180,532 coins---the economy was highly inflated at this time---but it was better than nothing. It wasn’t long after---the sun still blazing overhead---before he stopped at a building. He was too exhausted to care what the place was, he needed resting, and he saw a sign that said they offered massages. A massage does sound rather good right now . . . He pushed his way inside. ******** Sarah wandered around aimlessly, her head pounding. Her limbs ached and her heart felt numb. What was she to do now? There were only so many jobs for an unemployed woman to take in these lands, and none of them were too appealing to her. Her minded wandered back to her friend Jasmine. Out of all of Sarah’s old friends, Jasmine was the only one to come through with an answer; though admittedly Sarah was rather appalled at the offer. Jasmine was a beautiful woman. Just walking down the street got her stares, from both men and women. Jasmine, with great enthusiasm, explained to Sarah everything about the job. At first Sarah was grateful, and more than willing to take it; especially when Jasmine said that she could probably become very wealthy. Jasmine described her business as being very popular, and went on to call it a massage parlor. It wasn’t long until Sarah put two and two together, and immediately excused herself to take a walk to think about her decision. A long walk. She looked up to the sky, to the sun that was sinking deeper into the horizon. It was her only option. She needed to make some money. Sarah promised herself it would only be for a little while, just until she could get back on her feet and find a better place to work. Sarah begrudgingly made her way back to Jasmine’s place. Jasmine met her at the door, smiling wide. “So?” Sarah sighed, “I’ll take the job. But only if you promise me something.” “Anything.” “I’ll only do normal massages, nothing too . . . dirty . . .” Jasmine clapped her hands together in delight. “Absolutely!” She brought Sarah into a big hug, startling the poor girl. “I’m so happy!” She pulled back and looked Sarah in the face, her eyes shining. “By the way, I hope you don’t mind doing this last customer that’s come in?” “Doing?” She waved her hand. “A massage.” She continued talking, pulling Sarah to an unknown room. “Don’t worry this one’s a looker. About your age maybe? He’s got a nice body, I’m sure you’ll love him.” “I’m not looking for love . . .” They stopped in front of a wooden door. Herbal smells wafted through the small crack at the bottom of the door. “Psh. Obviously not love. But you should let loose a little.” Sarah gave Jasmine a sideways glance. “Let loose? This is only a massage.” The short silence that followed frightened Sarah. What was Jasmine up to? Before she could ask, Jasmine opened the door and pushed Sarah inside without warning, yelling “sorry.” The door slammed shut behind her. Sarah looked about the room startled. It was simple, not much furniture in it. A few counters, a shelf with oils and other strange materials on it, and a table were the only objects in the room; a pile of armor sat beside her. She thought the armor looked familiar, but shook the thought out of her head. She looked to the table, placed in the middle of the room. On that table laid a man. The man laid on his stomach, face pressed into the pillow. He was shirtless. Of course he’s shirtless. Sarah mentally smacked herself at the stupid observation. Sarah couldn’t help staring at him. She couldn’t deny that Jasmine was right. He did have a nice body. He seemed to be all muscle, and his smooth honey colored skin shone in the pale light. He had hair as white as snow, and Sarah found it both mesmerizing and weird. Sarah hesitantly moved forward. She placed her hands on his back, his skin hot under her palms. Her face heated up. Sarah began moving her hands in a massaging motion. She had to admit, she doesn’t actually know how to massage, and it doesn’t help that her hands began to sweat. Beneath her the man shifted. “You’ve got to be the worst massager in decades. Can’t you get someone else in here who actually knows how to do their job?” Sarah froze at the sound of his voice. There was no forgetting that voice---slightly deep and cocky. David. Rage boiled inside of her without warning, and she did nothing to stop it. What right did he have to sit there, relax, and get a massage, after smashing her dreams into tiny fragments? What right did he have to enjoy life when she was struggling to find a job, and must settle for being nothing more than a prostitute? Sarah growled, and brought her hands down hard. Her palms smacked hard against his back, and he jerked upright. He situated himself and faced her, eyes flashing and cheeks red. “What the hell? Not to be rude, but I’m not into that kind of kinky stuff, I’m not a masochist.” This in turn earned him another slap across the face. He turned his face back towards her. His eyes, which Sarah now saw was a soft purple, widened in recognition. David’s mouth hung open slightly. He quickly closed it, swallowing hard. Sarah glared at him, all the anger she felt escaping from her mouth. “YOU DESERVED IT! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!” Her eyes began to sting with tears. This made her more infuriated; she doesn’t like crying. She goes to slap him again, only to have her hand stopped inches from his face. She began to struggle, her other hand going to hit him, but he quickly grabs hold of her shoulders. His grip on her was both gentle and fierce. Without warning he lifts her up. In the next moment, she was under him on the table; he hovered inches above her, hot breath stinging her face. David looked at her. It was a strange look that made her spine tingle. Sarah’s face heated up at the proximity of their bodies, the heat from him seeping through her clothes and making her blush. She stammered out in almost a whisper, “l-let me go . . .” His beautiful purple eyes darkened for a moment, and he furrowed his eyebrows like he was confused. After a minute, he reluctantly removed his body from on top of hers, letting her sit up. He cast a suspicious glance at her, almost as if he wasn’t sure if she would run or not. She wanted to. They sat there in awkward silence. Then he spoke. “Just so you know, I fixed it.” “Fixed what?” “Fixed what I messed up. Here.” He handed her some papers. She scanned them, and couldn’t help the smile that formed on her face. Her heart leaped with joy. She looked up at him. “Thank you!” Sarah almost wanted to hug him, but rejected the idea. A smirk played about his lips. “So, do I get an apology kiss for slapping me?”
