The closest yet?
Sure it wasn’t perfect, but recent three-part ITV drama Butterfly is easily the most genuine trans representation I’ve seen to date. Whether the ending to this series was setting up its possible return or not, I’m grateful to everyone involved for setting a new benchmark. Just thinking about that very last scene hits so close to home, and I can only hope there’s more coming soon!
