Using that sham of an interview to promote about her new book on trauma, resilience, and healing. Never mind that the family Harry and Meghan completely threw under the bus is probably still mourning and recovering from the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who they buried a week ago. During their time of strife, their time of healing, let’s bring up that debacle again. 

If I were a betting person, I would say that she likely included the interview because she knew that people wouldn’t talk about her book itself, but they would talk about the book if she talked about the interview. She wanted a bigger pull than Oprah’s Book Club.
